July 8, Owen Speaking About Eltham’s Landing

Fox Run’s newest author, Joseph L. Owen will be speaking to the Civil War Roundtable of Central Louisiana on July 8, 2021 at 6:00 PM Central Time. This event will air on Facebook Live where Joe will cover the actions of Hood’s Texas Brigade at the Battle of Eltham’s Landing during the Peninsula Campaign. This largely forgotten action marked the baptism by fire of Hood’s Texans. Tune in as Joe tells how the famous Hood’s Texas Brigade first made its name.
